Concordance Within an RN to BSN Program: Standardized Writing Assessment Rubrics.
Nursing Education Perspectives 2018 July 10
A standardized rubric for writing assessment can improve concordance in expectations across a nurse educator community; however, standardization may also pose a perceived threat to faculty academic freedom. In creating a hybrid standardized rubric, a community of nurse educators can retain academic freedom while better serving students with consistent expectations for writing skills.
