BACKGROUND: Predicting hamstring graft size preoperatively for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is important for preempting an insufficient diameter in graft size intraoperatively, possibly leading to graft failure. While there are multiple published methods using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), most are not feasible and practical.
