Thoracic aortic calcification (TAC) is tightly linked to pathological atherosclerosis and associated with certain cardiovascular diseases. While diabetes mellitus (DM) is known as a coronary heart disease equivalent, we examined the presence of TAC across the dysglycemic spectrum of diabetes mellitus (DM).
