A persistent and painless red area on the rim of lower eyelid, often detected by your Ophthalmologist during eye exam! If diagnosed early, MOHS Surgery is in order. However, on “Presentation” it may appear minor, judging from the visible inflammation of the lower lid, but can prove to be much more extensive by the MOHS Surgery! Squamous Cell Carcinoma is a seriously urgent condition where appropriate treatment cannot be delayed. This cancer can return later, even with initial successful removal by MOHS. Stay aware.
