Attritional rupture of the extensor tendon due to longstanding Kienböck's disease

Two cases of attritional rupture of the extensor tendon due to longstanding Kienböck's disease are reported. The rupture was caused by the fragment of a collapsed lunate which pierced the dorsal capsule of the wrist.
