Intracranial air following subdural haematoma drainage with delayed recovery

Continued brain moulding following drainage of a chronic subdural haematoma is associated with a poor prognosis. Two cases of bilateral frontal lobe collapse associated with massive intracranial air are reported. Recovery was prolonged but satisfactory.
