Tumours of hand

P C Leung
Hand 1981, 13 (2): 169-72
198 hand tumours were found among 7,552 new cases seen within a period of four years. The diagnostic problems are discussed, and the treatment of the different types of tumour described. The ganglia were specially followed-up for 1-4 years in order to detect the rate of early recurrence. This is found to occur in 8% of cases. Careful planning and adequate local excision were emphasised.
