Epidemiological characteristics of 2019 novel coronavirus: an interim review.

Objectives: The 2019-nCoV from Wuhan, China is now recognized as a public health emergency of global concern.
Methods: To update the control measures in public health authorities, we reviewed the currently available literature.
Results: Some of the epidemiologic characteristics were identified. However, considerable uncertainties are still present to provide the updated guidance of control measures to public health authorities.
Conclusion: Additional studies based on detailed information on confirmed cases would be valuable.
