A 50-year-old asymptomatic man presented for screening esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy showed a 10-mm semipedunculated type of submucosal tumor (SMT)-like protrusion with slight depression on top in the second portion of the duodenum (Fig. 1a). Narrow-band imaging showed irregular vessels in the depression (Fig. 2a), from which endoscopic biopsy showed adenocarcinoma. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
