Preclinical signs of a temporomandibular disorder in females with episodic cervicogenic headache vs asymptomatic controls: A cross-sectional study.
The International Classification of Headache Disorders-3 accepted 'headache attributed to temporomandibular disorder (TMD)' as a valid headache-type.1 Such a headache can be explained by common neuronal pathways and central sensitization processes.2 Migraine, tension-type and secondary cervicogenic headache (CeH) are frequently associated with TMD.3-5 .
