Kester Brown was a giant of paediatric anaesthesia on whose shoulders so many of us stood. In the spirit of his valuing the importance of publishing as a key tool for others to benefit from his clinical, educational, research or administrative ideas, Kester summarised and published the story of his life and his philosophy.
