Zika virus infection in pregnant women in a General Hospital of Veracruz, Mexico.

We present a cohort of pregnant patients who attended evaluation between August to November 2016, during the first wave of Zika in Mexico, studying them in terms of the most important symptomatology, report of positivity to Zika by RT-PCR, search for fetopathies compatible with the syndrome congenito por zika, being the first experience in the Mexican southeast.
