In memoriam: Martha Christensen, 1932-2017.

Professor Martha Christensen, an international leader in fungal systematics and ecology, died on 19 March 2017. Martha was a professor of mycology in the Department of Botany at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. A recognized expert on the ecology and systematics of soil-dwelling fungi, Professor Martha Christensen's 85 years were filled with steadfast devotion to her family, friends, students, and the public she so graciously served.
