ARB superiority over ACE inhibitors in Coronary Heart Disease: An Alternative Viewpoint.

A recent observational study published in Pharmacotherapy suggests that treatment with an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), compared to an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, each combined with statin therapy, substantially reduces cardiovascular events and mortality in patients with newly-diagnosed coronary heart disease.
