Hypotension, myocardial infarction, and coagulopathy following gila monster bite.

We report a 23-year-old man who developed life threatening hypotension, myocardial infarction, coagulopathy, and renal failure following the bite of a Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum). These are previously unreported complications in humans. The patient recovered after fluid resuscitation and treatment with pressor agents.
