Metal-Organic Frameworks: From Bimetallic Metal-Organic Framework to Porous Carbon: High Surface Area and Multicomponent Active Dopants for Excellent Electrocatalysis (Adv. Mater. 34/2015).

Advanced Materials 2015 September
Bimetallic metal-organic frameworks are rationally synthesized by Y. Xiong, H.-L. Jiang, and co-workers on page 5010 as templates for porous carbons via facile pyrolysis. The optimized porous carbon with high surface area and multicomponent active dopants exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for the oxygen reduction reaction, which is even better than that of the Pt/C catalyst in alkaline media.
