Nurses facilitate healing using psychological, social, environmental, physical and teaching interventions allowed within the nursing standards of practice. Although nurses do not diagnose a medical illness or prescribe meds, surgery or other physically invasive treatments, they diagnose a person's response to their illness and apply appropriate nursing treatments that facilitate healing.of the illness. Nursing is a holistic and very complex process that requires knowledge in multiple sciences including psychology, cultural anthropology, biological sciences, sociology, nutrition, child development, pharmacology, genetics, human ecology, public health in order to understand the disease process and how to best assist the person to heal or adapt to their new state of health.

Good nurses know what to do, great nurses know also why. Every nurse should toil toward knowledge and understanding.

Healthcare is an entity that requires continuous and consistent team work, in order to be effective for patients. All members of the interdisciplinary team provide a unique role, but each professional requires the assistance his or her team members for the execution of excellent quality care. The focus should not be merely who is who, but rather how can the collaboration of healthcare professionals help patients to be healthy and stay that way.

I heard a quote...
A good nurse knows more about good nursing than a good doctor. A good doctor knows more about good medicine than a good nurse

A doctor is someone whom people gets learned opinions when their sickness are diagnosed and a person who should deliver his passion towards a patient positive outcome either physiological, psychological and even spiritual. A doctor should be someone that eventually provides hope in a despair situation. A nurse is the doctors sidekick and his muse. A nurse complements a doctors extended tasks and helps the patient go through a process that would encourage and expedite a patient healing. A nurse provides empathy as well as care for a patients well being. A good combination of teamwork between doctors and nurses that passionately cares for the patients is much more greater than any medication or clinical treatment.

Doctor is word which means to teach. Nurse means to take care such as a mother nurses her baby.
