[Changes of dietary habits among Warsaw Medical University students in the years 1985-2001].

The dietary habits changes of 1067 medical students (577 females and 490 males) examined in 1985/1986, 1989/1990, 1994/1995 and 2000/2001 years are presented. The results indicate an improvement of nutrition in the period of 15 years. Intake of fruit and vegetables, dairy products, pulps and vegetable fats has been increased. As a result an increased level of vitamin C, calcium, thiamine, riboflavine and dietary fiber in students' daily food rations has been observed.
