Projectile injuries from rotary power lawn mowers.

Two case reports of projectile injuries to bystanders from rotary power lawn mowers are presented. The surgeon must think in terms of entrance and exit wounds and tentative trajectory. Roentgenograms are invaluable. Treatment follows the same surgical principles that are applicable to civilian gunshot wound.
