Coronary artery anomalies and their potential sequelae are not well studied in association with stillbirth. Herein, we report the autopsy findings in two term stillborn fetuses with coronary artery anomalies. We used ultrasonography and radiography to assess the sexual organs and characterize the reproductive cycle of captive golden lancehead (Bothrops insularis) and Alcatrazes lancehead (B. alcatraz), two endangered island snake species in Brazil. We present a rare case of a 25-year-old woman who developed idiopathic portal hypertension and ascites four days after delivering a stillborn child at term. She had no previous liver illness or risk factors for portal vein thrombosis.
