Systemic vasculitides comprise a collection of rare and heterogeneous disorders capable of impacting any organ and system, posing a considerable burden of mortality and comorbidity. As with previous annual reviews of this series, this review will offer a critical overview of the latest literature on pathogenesis, biomarkers, and treatment options in both small- and large-vessel vasculitis.

Pelvic floor disorders (PFDs) constitute a major public health issue given their negative effect on quality of life for millions of women worldwide and the associated economic burden. Pettigrew syndrome (PGS), an X-linked intellectual disability (XLID), is caused by mutations in the AP1S2 gene. Herein, we described a Thai family with six patients who had severe-to-profound intellectual impairment, limited verbal communication, and varying degrees of limb spasticity.
