BACKGROUND: Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) are essential skills for endoscopic cholangio-pancreatic procedures. However, these procedures have a high incidence of adverse events, and most training is currently patient-based.
