Controlling the end-groups of biocompatible polymers is crucial for enabling polymer-based therapeutics and nanomedicine. Typically, end-group diversification is a challenging and time-consuming endeavor, especially for polymers pre-pared via ionic polymerization mechanisms with limited functional group tolerance.
