BACKGROUND BRASH syndrome is a newly recognized clinical entity characterized by bradycardia, renal failure, atrioventricular blockade, shock, and hyperkalemia. Patients with BRASH syndrome often have severe bradycardia that is refractory to antidotes and chronotropic medications.
