Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has rapidly spread to all corners of the globe. Different diagnostic tools, such as Chest X-ray (CXR), lung ultrasound (LUS), and computerized tomography (CT), have been used to detect active pneumonic lesions associated with COVID-19 with their varying degrees of sensitivity and specificity. This study was undertaken to investigate the clinical characteristics of COVID-19 patients with a pneumonic lung lesion detected by CT that is not detected by CXR. A total of 156 COVID-19 patients hospitalized at three nationally designated South Korean hospitals with no active lesion detected by CXR but on clinical suspicion of pneumonia underwent the CT examination and were enrolled...

Multifocal osteomyelitis and synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, and osteitis (SAPHO) syndrome constitute a spectrum of disease that includes inflammatory bone lesions and dermatologic findings. Radiographic features resemble those of the spondyloarthropathies with anterior chest wall involvement. Early radiographic findings are osteodestructive with lytic lesions. Bone scintigraphy of the sternoclavicular region classically yields a 'bull's head' pattern of radionuclide uptake. Elastofibroma is a benign slow-growing neoplasm of soft tissues, originally defined Elastofibroma dorsi because of the typical localization in the connective tissue placed between the bottom corner of the scapula and the chest wall. PURPOSE: We report the case of puerperal ascites, associated with elevated CA125 levels and secondary to a uterine myoma. In totally endoscopic coronary artery bypass surgery, intra-operative assessment of anastomotic quality is needed. We evaluated the endoscopic application of epicardial ultrasound to visualize the coronary anastomosis and detect a construction error.
