Nuclear protein of the testis (NUT) midline carcinomas (NMC) are malignant epithelial tumours that have chromosomal rearrangements of the gene encoding NUT at 15q14. NMC is typically an aggressive fatal cancer, clinically overlaps with other carcinomas, and differential diagnosis is difficult. In this particular work, a simple, cost-effective and single step process to synthesize magnesium oxide modified nitrogen doped porous carbon (MgO/NMC) by thermal decomposition technique has been elaborated and its high-pressure performance as CO2 and CH4 gas adsorbent is demonstrated.
