Analytes concentration techniques are being developed with the appealing expectation to boost the performance of biosensors. One promising method lies in the use of electrokinetic forces. Here we report the preparation of water-dispersible glycosylated poly(2,5'-thienylene)porphyrin based nanoparticles by a nanoprecipitation method and demonstrate the application of these nanoparticles in antibacterial photodynamic therapy. We introduce a method for the direct imprinting of GaAs substrates using wet-chemical stamping. The pre-defined patterns on the stamps etch the GaAs substrates via metal-assisted chemical etching. This is a resist-free method in which the stamp and the GaAs substrate are directly pressed together. Imprinting and etching occur concurrently until the stamp is released from the substrate. Primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) is caused by Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV). PEL has a highly active mTOR pathway, which makes mTOR a potential therapeutic target. MLN0128 is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of mTOR that has entered clinical trials for solid tumors.
