The hydatidosis is a frequent zoonosis in Spain, but isolated location in pancreas and their onset as acute abdomen is excepcional. We present a boy 14 years old, with abdominal pain and low-grade fever since 1 month. Hemogram shows eosinophilia, and echography an anechoic mass in tail of pancreas beside of free peritoneal liquid. At surgery procedure: a broken hydatid cyst is verified, surrounded of tissues inflammatory reaction that evolved to pancreatic fistula. UNLABELLED: Over 27 year period (1.01.1974-31.12.2001) a 168 patients (pts) were operated on for benign bile duct strictures of types I to IV according to Bismuth's classification. Reconstruction of fresh lesions and lesions and strictures of sectorial or segmental ducts were not taken into account. The later are to be the subject of separate publication. We present a 34 year old patient, intravenous drug user, hospitalized with fever, distortion of general status, dry irritating cough, abdominal colicative pains, and we established the diagnosis of HIV infection advanced stage/AIDS; his antecedents revealed (August 2000) abdominal tuberculosis not treated during the last 3 months. He presented a pneumonia with Pneumocystis carinii during hospitalization. Death was due to a colon perforation with secundary peritonitis. Miliary tuberculous lesions in liver, spleen and colon were revealed at necropsy and cytomegalovirus was identified in necrotic samples also...
