BACKGROUND AND AIMS: Clinical concerns exist about the potential proarrhythmic effects of the sodium channel blockers flecainide and propafenone (SCB) in patients with cardiovascular disease. SCB were used to deliver early rhythm control (ERC) therapy in EAST-AFNET 4.
