•Primitive neuroectodermal tumor of the uterus is extremely rare.•Diagnosis requires timely evaluation with molecular analysis.•Different combinations of adjuvant chemotherapy have been reported.

•Primary invasive breast carcinoma can be found arising from within mammary-like glands in the vulva.•There is no standard management strategy for this rare disease; treatment recommendations should be similar to that for primary breast carcinoma.•The use of sentinel lymph node biopsy may offer another management option for this disease.

•We herein report a case of a 44-year-old Japanese woman diagnosed with stage IB1 atypical carcinoid of the uterine cervix.•After radical hysterectomy, she developed recurrence with aggressive clinical behavior, resistance to CPT-11 + cisplatin and paclitaxel + CBDCA chemotherapy.

•The VRAM flap is commonly used for perineal and vaginal reconstruction at the time of pelvic exenteration.•Prolapse of the VRAM flap may be under reported.•We have shown successful repair of VRAM flap prolapse via an obliterative technique and sacral suspension.

OBJECTIVE: Primary papillary serous carcinoma (PPSC) of the cervix is rarely recognized, with the aggressive and unpredictable course. Here we report a case of primary adenosquamous papillary serous carcinoma of the cervix in a woman who underwent comprehensive treatment. CASE: A 53-year-old woman presented with irregular vaginal bleeding in hospital. •Glassy cell carcinoma (GCC) of the cervix is rare and aggressive.•A few case reports have described a response to intravenous chemotherapy for this malignancy.•This is the first report of a GCC case that responded to a combination of docetaxel and carboplatin.

•Intravenous leiomyosarcomatosis is a rare condition in which malignant myometrial tissue metastasizes to the heart.•We discuss the complicated diagnosis and treatment of a patient afflicted with intravenous leiomyosarcomatosis.•To ensure a favorable prognosis, therapy should comprise comprehensive and multi-disciplinary treatment.
