Primary muscular hydatidosis is an infrequent parasitic infection, caused by Echinococcus granulosus. We report 2 cases of female patients with diagnosis of primary muscular hydatidosis of the thigh. Both hail from an endemic area for hydatidosis, and had no pulmonary, hepatic, or systemic involvement.
