Eculizumab, a monoclonal antibody against complement C5, is a novel therapy to treat refractory myasthenia gravis (MG). The present review was undertaken to study the role of eculizumab in MG. This includes the drug's mechanism, pharmacokinetics, clinical trial findings, tolerability, side effects, safety, dosage, administration, and cost.
