INTRODUCTION: Earlier studies have shown a clear association between severity of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and incident atrial fibrillation (AF). We present the long-term outcome of catheter ablation (CA) and electrophysiological characteristics in HIV+ AF patients.
