Peripheral nerves traverse through different soft tissue compartments in the upper and lower extremities via specific anatomical tunnels, where they are susceptible to entrapment. Surgical correction of hindfoot varus is frequently performed with a lateral displacement calcaneal osteotomy. It has rarely been associated with iatrogenic tarsal tunnel syndrome in patients with pre-existing neurological disease.
